1.Wynwood – Neighborhood

I must be honest: a couple of years ago, Wynwood was my #1 neighborhood to recommend to people visiting Miami, but not anymore. I still think it’s worth visiting; you can find delicious restaurants, edgy stores and cool murals, but it can get messy and packed if you visit late on the weekends.

I really recommend taking an Uber or Lyft because the parking can get very limited.

2. Lummus Park, South Beach – Outdoor Park

Lummus Park is located in South Beach, and I highly recommend renting a bicycle and strolling through it. After the stroll, you can visit the beach or one of the hundreds of restaurants.

3. Vizcaya Museum & Gardens – Museum

The museum is the former villa and estate of businessman James Deering. You can visit the villa, now a museum, and the fantastic gardens.

The museum opens daily except on Tuesdays from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm. You can buy your tickets HERE.

Tickets per adult are $25.

4. Bayside Marketplace – Outdoor Shopping Center

It’s an open-air shopping center located in downtown Miami. It counts with restaurants, shops, boats, and live music.

Don’t forget to hop on The Sky View Miami, an observation wheel with views of Biscayne Bay, Bayfront Park, and the iconic Downtown Miami skyline. They operate Monday to Thursday from 1 pm to 10 pm and Friday to Sunday from 12 pm to 10 pm. You can buy the tickets HERE.

General tickets are $19.92.

5. Miami Heat Game at the Miami-Dade Arena

The Miami Heat are an American professional basketball team based in Miami. It’s a really cool and different experience, make sure to check the games online.

6. Miami Design District – Neighborhood

A neighborhood with modern architecture, art galleries, luxury fashion, jewelry boutiques, cafes, and celebrity-chef restaurants.

Find more about Miami Design District HERE.

7. Brickell – Neighborhood

You can find different restaurants, shops, parks, walk spaces, bars and more. Brickell City Centre is one of the most popular places in Brickell.

Find more about Brickell City Centre HERE.

8. Faena Hotel – Hotel

Faena is a luxury hotel in Miami. You can visit the hotel without being a guest by visiting one of the restaurants, bars or shows. Make sure to visit the three-meter-tall golden mammoth skeleton.

9. Astra – Restaurant

It’s a rooftop restaurant, bar, and lounge in Wynwood (See #1). They have different cocktails and Greek/Mediterranean-inspired food. You can also watch amazing sunsets. Make sure to take the stairs when you leave the restaurant; they have some Instagrammable walls.

10. Perez Art Museum Miami – Museum

It’s a contemporary art museum located in Downtown Miami. You can find some exhibitions outside the museum; it also has a great view of the Miami skyline.

The museum is open from Thursday to Monday from 11 am to 6 pm (11 am to 9 pm on Thursdays). Buy tickets HERE.

Tickets per adult are $18.

11. Esotico – Restaurant

A tiki bar and restaurant near Downtown Miami. They offer exotic cocktails and tropical cuisine. The decoration is AWESOME, and you can even cook your own kebab.

12. Artechouse – Digital Gallery

It’s a digital gallery that combines technology and art. I liked the experience but was expecting the place to be bigger and with more exhibitions.

13. Casa Florida

It’s a tropical vibes bar; they offer craft cocktails and small bites. The decoration is very pink, cute and eye-catching. They have indoor and outdoor seating (I recommend sitting by the bus).

14. Rubell Museum – Museum

It’s a small and amazing contemporary museum located in Allapattah.

15. Little Hen – Restaurant

It’s an English-style restaurant serving breakfast, brunch & traditional afternoon tea, located in Midtown.

16. Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science – Museum

It’s a science museum, planetarium, and aquarium located in Downtown, Miami.
